What is Industrial Engineering?


Industrial engineering is an engineering management discipline with number of techniques based on different subjects. It combines engineering  knowledge and practice with concepts, principles and methods from diverse subjects such as mathematics, statistics, anatomy, physiology, psychology, sociology, ergonomics, and operations research, to make systems efficient and to make man power productive and comfortable. Industrial Engineering is Human Effort Engineering and Systems Efficiency Engineering.
